Our God is fully worthy of all our worship. The start of the greatest commandments is that we love God with all our heart (passion), all our strength (discipline), and all our minds (intellect). We do that by giving ourselves to Him. We give our hearts, we give our wealth, we give our service, and we give our surrender in worship to the Lord. We believe it’s impossible to out-give God!

Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. Cornerstone strives to be faithful to this command both in our church and in our community by equipping every member to be a part of outreach. We also seek to share the Gospel with the world through direct missionary support and bi-annual mission trips.

God made us to have relationships with Him and with each other. We believe the Christian life requires great friendships. All of us need these to fulfill God’s plans for us. Our Church continually seeks ways to connect people with each other to develop lasting and God-honoring relationships.

In the Great Commission, Jesus said that we were to teach others all the things he had taught us. Discipleship is a foundational part of what it means to be a Christian. We believe that as people grow in the Lord they will change and we want to encourage this in the life of every person who attends Cornerstone.

Jesus said, “The greatest among you shall be the one who serves.” When Jesus reveals the greatest commandments, we are also told to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Cornerstone Baptist Church seeks to follow these truths by regularly meeting the needs of one another and our community. We believe that every member should have a ministry.
